SR. Media Buyer

The Senior Media Buyer is responsible for planning, negotiating, executing, and optimizing advertising campaigns across multiple media channels to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives. The role involves strategic media planning, budget management, performance analysis, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, executing, and managing advertising campaigns across digital, social, search, and traditional media channels.
  • Negotiating media rates and managing media space with vendors.
  • Managing advertising budgets and ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
  • Monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance and preparing detailed performance reports.
  • Analyzing campaign data to optimize performance, improve targeting, and adjust strategies.
  • Identifying target audiences and developing media plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinating with Meta and other platform representatives for optimization and technical support.
  • Creating ad schedules, adjusting campaigns for seasonality and events, and developing new ads when required.
  • Leading and supervising the media buying team, setting goals, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Researching market trends, competitor activities, and new media opportunities to enhance brand performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Media Buyer.
  • Strong expertise in media buying across digital, social, search, and traditional platforms.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and analytics tools.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, budget tracking, and performance optimization.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Solid understanding of customer journey, especially within the higher education sector.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the education or higher education sector.
  • Familiarity with programmatic buying tools and DSPs.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, CRM, and CMS platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting and ROI analysis.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior media buyers.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and emerging media trends.
  • Openness to hybrid or remote working arrangements.
