Job Title: Senior Bank Accountant

Working Hours: 8.5 hours / 5 working days
Reporting To: Chief Accountant
Job Purpose:
The Senior Bank Accountant is responsible for managing all bank-related accounting activities, including daily banking operations, bank reconciliations, and liquidity planning, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bank transactions (transfers, deposits, withdrawals).
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations and related journal entries.
- Monitor daily cash positions and prepare bank position reports.
- Record and reconcile incoming payments with AR/AP.
- Analyze bank fees, charges, and monthly banking expenses.
- Follow up on returned checks and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with banks and internal departments on banking matters.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Proven experience in bank accounting and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience using ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Odoo ERP or similar accounting systems.
- Prior exposure to high-volume bank transactions or multi-bank environments.
- Basic knowledge of cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Experience supporting internal or external audits related to banking.
- Familiarity with bank fees analysis and cost optimization.
- Experience working in a corporate or group-company structure.
