Academic Operations Manager

  • Leading operational forecasting for enrollments, resources, and program demand to support strategic planning and growth.
  • Managing master scheduling for courses, exams, lecturers, and academic events while resolving conflicts proactively.
  • Designing and continuously improving SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Overseeing academic delivery quality, including audits of live sessions and lecturer performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with accreditation and academic standards across all programs and materials.
  • Managing cross-functional communication between academic, customer service, finance, and operations teams.
  • Monitoring and analyzing operational data, including attendance, performance, and utilization metrics.
  • Leading lecturer coordination, onboarding, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
  • Overseeing exam implementation, LMS updates, and academic content accuracy.
  • Managing student experience touchpoints, including feedback collection, issue resolution, and service improvement.
  • Planning and executing major academic events such as graduation ceremonies, including budgeting and logistics.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational transformation projects using data insights.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Business Administration, Operations, or equivalent).
  • MBA is mandatory.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in academic operations or education management.
  • At least 3+ years in a senior managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of academic systems, LMS platforms, and ERP systems (preferably Odoo).
  • Experience with forecasting, workforce/resource planning, and operational analytics.
  • Solid understanding of accreditation standards and academic quality frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in international education environments or accredited academic institutions.
  • Exposure to large-scale academic operations or multi-campus program management.
  • Background in process automation or ERP optimization (especially Odoo customization or reporting).
  • Experience in advanced analytics, performance modeling, or bell curve evaluation.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Experience in managing large academic events or institutional ceremonies.
  • Familiarity with student experience frameworks or CX improvement initiatives.
